Good Friday and Easter Weekend 2025 municipal hours of operations

Kawartha Lakes – Please note the following changes to our hours of operation and service schedules on Friday April 18, 2025 (Good Friday).
Administration Offices
All administration and Municipal Service Centres are closed during regular hours of operation on Friday April 18 (Good Friday). Municipal Service Centres will return to regular business hours on Monday April 21.
Waste Collection
Landfills will be closed on Friday April 18 (Good Friday). They will return to regular operating hours on Saturday April 19. Since the holiday is on a Friday, there won’t be any changes to your collection day.
*New: If your household is included in the Organics Program, your regular organics pickup will be moving from Friday April 18 to Saturday April 19. To avoid any delays, please be sure to have your rollout cart to the curb by 7am.
Earth Week is coming up! Don’t forget to sign your group up for a 20-Minute Community Clean-Up. Registration closes on April 14, 2025, so be sure to sign your group up today.
Public Library
All library branches will be closed on Friday April 18 (Good Friday), with regular operating hours returning on Saturday April 19.
Lindsay Transit
There will be no Lindsay Transit or LIMO Specialized Transit service on Friday April 18 (Good Friday).
Parks and Recreation
All Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Friday April 18, 2025 (Good Friday). This includes the administrative office, all recreation centres, arenas and pools.
The weight room and fitness programming at the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool, Bobcaygeon will resume regular hours on Saturday April 19, 2025.
There will be no swimming lessons on Friday April 18, Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20, 2025. All swimming lessons will resume Monday April 21, 2025.
Public swimming will be available on Saturday April 19 and Sunday April 20, 2025 at the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool, Bobcaygeon. To view the schedules and register online, please visit our Online Program Registration website.
Public skating will be available at the Lindsay Recreation Complex on Saturday April 19 from 1:45pm to 2:45pm and Sunday April 20, 2025 from 2:15pm to 3:15pm. Pre-registration is required through our Online Program Registration website.

Spoiled food bins are to remain at the following locations until further notice:
- Fenelon Falls Community Centre (27 Veteran’s Way, Fenelon Falls)
- Coboconk Service Centre (9 Grandy Road, Coboconk)
