Kawartha Lakes Public Library Celebrates Pride Month with Events, Activities, Community Engagement

Kawartha Lakes — Kawartha Lakes Public Library is proud to once again take part in Pride in the Park on Saturday, July 12, celebrating and supporting our local 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Join us at our library tent for a welcoming and inclusive space featuring:
- Engaging activities for children
- Information on library services with a special focus on our Pride Collection
- A quiet reading area with children’s books for families to enjoy
- Simple rainbow flag face painting for all ages
Our staff will be available to chat, share resources, and help connect community members to books that celebrate diversity and promote inclusion.
