Seasons Greetings from Council and the Mayor
"As the year draws to a close, on behalf of Council, I'd like to wish everyone happy holidays and happy New Year.
Although 2024 has brought many challenges and obstacles, as a community we have seen firsthand that in Kawartha Lakes, we look after those less fortunate and we strive to be a caring community. I hope everyone is able to enjoy some quality time with family, friends, and loved ones this season. Over the holidays, please show your Christmas spirit; check on your neighbours and consider a donation to a local charity or good deed to those around you.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, and that you stay safe and well throughout this festive season," said Mayor Doug Elmslie.
