Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan available on Jump In, Kawartha Lakes

Kawartha Lakes - The municipality has developed a Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan to help guide the future of recreation programs, facilities, and parks over the next 15 years. This comprehensive Plan includes recommendations to meet the needs of both current and future residents through 2040.

The Draft Strategic Plan will be presented to Council on October 7, 2025.  To review the plan please visit the Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan project on Jump In.  Comments can be provided until October 21, 2025 for consideration in the final plan.

Watch the meeting on our YouTube channel.

If you have any questions about the project, please reach out to a member of the consultation team listed on the Jump In project page.

Thank you to all who provided input into the process for helping us make Kawartha Lakes a better place to live, play, and enjoy for everyone.
