Proposed Surplus Declaration and Sale - Lot 37 on Plan 139

Take Notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes will hear a proposal to declare the City-owned property legally described as Lot 37 on Plan 139; Kawartha Lakes, being PIN: 63275-0162 (LT) (located off Rose Street, Pleasant Point), surplus to its needs at its Committee of the Whole meeting to be held on September 10, 2024 commencing at 1:00 p.m., followed by its Regular Council Meeting to be held on September 24, 2024 commencing at 1:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario. Should the proposal be approved, City Council will proceed to pass a by-law to authorize the sale of the land to the interested party.

And Take Further Notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
