Proposed Surplus Declaration, Closure, and Sale - Road Allowance Adjacent 315 Avery Point Rd, Carden
Take Notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes will hear a proposal to declare a portion of shoreline road allowance adjacent to 315 Avery Point Road, Carden and legally described as Lot 35, Plan 136, T/W R406965, in the Geographic Township of Carden, City of Kawartha Lakes (PIN:63108-0400 (LT)), surplus to its needs at its first Committee of the Whole meeting to be held in January 2025 commencing at 1:00 p.m., followed by its first Regular Council Meeting to be held in January 2025 commencing at 1:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario. Should the proposal be approved, City Council will proceed to pass a by-law to stop up and close that part of the road allowance and authorize the sale of the land to the adjacent property owner.
And Take Further Notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
