Kawartha Lakes - Due to inclement weather and current road conditions, please note the following service reductions and closures:

Landfill

Laxton Landfill will be closed today.

Lindsay Transit

Lindsay Transit will be reducing service effective immediately and will operate only on the following arterial roads today, Sunday, February 16, 2025.

Green Route:

1. Adelaide Street North from Kent Street West to Northlin Park Road
2. Angeline Street North from Kent Street West to Springdale Drive
3. Kent Street West from Hwy. 35 South to Lindsay Street
4. Northlin Park Road from Adelaide Street North to Orchard Park Road 
5. Orchard Park Road from Angeline Street North to Northlin Park Road 
6. Victoria Street North from Kent Street West to Orchard Park Road
7. William Street North from Kent Street West to Orchard Park Road

Red Route:

1. Angeline Street South from Kent Street West to Victoria Manor
2. Kent Street West from Hwy. 35 South to Lindsay Street
3. Lindsay Street South from Kent Street West to Melbourne Street West
4. Lindsay Street South from George Street West to Mary Street West
5. Mary Street West from McLaughlin Road to Angeline Street South
6. Mary Street West from Adelaide Street South to Lindsay Street South

Blue Route:

1. Adelaide Street South from Durham Street West to Mary Street West
2. Angeline Street South from Kent Street West to Victoria Manor
3. Colborne Street West from Hwy. 35 South to Adelaide Street North
4. Durham Street West from Angeline Street South to Adelaide Street South
5. Kent Street West from Hwy. 35 South to Lindsay Street
6. Logie Street from Queen Street to Primeau Crescent
7. Mary Street West from McLaughlin Road to Angeline Street South
8. McLaughlin Road from Kent Street West to Mary Street West
9. Mount Hope Street from St. David Street to Hwy. 36

Winter control 

Roads crews have been servicing arterial routes through the night and all remaining routes since 4am. Blowing snow and heavy snowfall rates are contributing to hazardous conditions. Please stay home if possible and use extra caution if you must travel.
