Kawartha Lakes - In November of last year, Parks Canada released an update advising that work was beginning on the installation of the permanent end lifts for the Bobcaygeon Swing Bridge. These vertical end lifts are critical in ensuring the bridge seals tightly to the abutments during swings.

All required forms for nomination are to be hand delivered to City Hall during an appointment with the Office of the City Clerk. Candidates, their agents, and third party advertisers for the Ward 5 By-Election are invited to book an appointment to file their nomination or registration through the Kawartha Lakes Election appointment booking system. An appointment is required to ensure election staff are available to receive the nomination paperwork.
