Celebrate Canada Day 2026 across Kawartha Lakes

Bobcaygeon
Head to Tommy Anderson Park (94 Dunn Street) for fun activities for the whole family, along with a barbecue, live entertainment and parade. Activities begin at 9:30am with the Canada Day parade starting at 3pm.
Don’t forget to check out the Bobcaygeon Beach Park at dusk (around 10pm) for one of the best fireworks shows in Kawartha Lakes! Find all the details for the event on the Canada Day Bobcaygeon web page.
Fenelon Falls
Spend Canada Day in Fenelon Falls! The community is hosting a ton of fun events for the whole family, including live music, petting zoo, bouncy castle, kid friendly games and activities, a barbecue, the Rotary Club’s Classic Car Draw and fireworks.
Start your day by visiting the Family Fun Zone at Maryboro Lodge (99 Francis Street West) and Garnet Graham Park. Once you’ve had your fill of free, fun activities, head over to the Legion (23 Veterans Way) for their Canada Day on the Patio Barbecue from 12pm to 5pm.
Later, head back to the Maryboro Lodge and Garnet Graham Park for the fireworks show at dusk (around 10pm)!

Kinmount
Head to the Kinmount Fairgrounds (County Road 503 and Reid Street) for fireworks, live music, cake, wagon rides, lawn games, balloons, bubbles, glow sticks, a candy bar, a barbecue and refreshments available for purchase.
The event begins at 5:30pm and entry is free. There will be a Royal Canadian Legion Colour Party March at 7pm and the fireworks show starts at dusk (around 10pm). Don’t forget to bring your own chair!
Lindsay
Canada Day in Lindsay is happening at Wilson Fields (235 Colborne Street West). There will be free and fun activities for people of all ages, including family games and activities, food, live music and fireworks!

Norland
Kawartha Lakes Fire Station 17 in Norland is hosting fireworks at Ward Park (7675 Highway 35) for Canada Day. The fireworks will begin at dusk (around 10pm).
Omemee
Visit Beach Park (14 George Street South) in Omemee for family activities, vendor displays, giveaways, live music and Ducktona 2026. Activities start at 11am.
