Celebrate Small Business Week in Kawartha Lakes October 19 to 25

Kawartha Lakes – Small Business Week returns October 19 to 25, 2026, celebrating the entrepreneurs and small business owners who contribute to communities across Kawartha Lakes.

The Kawartha Lakes Small Business Centre is kicking off the week with an evening of food, trivia and connection on Monday October 19 from 5:30pm to 8pm at Gordon Yacht Harbour Marina, 81 Front Street East in Bobcaygeon.

Local business owners, entrepreneurs and members of the small business community are invited to come together, make connections and celebrate the people behind local businesses across Kawartha Lakes.

“Running a small business takes creativity, resilience, and a strong connection to community,” said Christine McLean, Economic Development Officer – Entrepreneurship, at Kawartha Lakes. “Small Business Week gives us an opportunity to recognize that work while creating more chances for local business owners to learn from and support one another.”

Small businesses play an important role in Kawartha Lakes, providing local jobs, services and experiences while contributing to vibrant communities throughout the municipality.
