Coming to a community near you: Watch for Kawartha Lakes‘ pop-up booth this summer

Kawartha Lakes - Residents will have more opportunities to connect with the City this summer as a new pop-up engagement booth travels across Kawartha Lakes.

Look for Communications Student Ella Bourgeois at events across Kawartha Lakes this summer. Her pop-up booth will be stopping at libraries, farmers' markets, recreation facilities and community events to share information about programs, services and ways to stay connected.

"I'm excited to meet residents across Kawartha Lakes this summer, share ways to stay informed and connected, and showcase the new website features inspired by your feedback." said Ella Bourgeois, Summer Communications and Public Engagement Student. "Whether you have a question, want more information on City services, or simply wish to stop by to say hello, I look forward to meeting you and hearing your thoughts."

The summer Communications and Engagement Booth is a one-stop shop for information on:

  • How new online tools make it easier to connect with City information and services

  • How the Jump In, Kawartha Lakes engagement platform is your key to shaping the future of our community

  • Why setting up your Jump Inbox will keep you up to date on the municipal news you want

  • How the Community Events Calendar can support your not-for-profit or charitable event

  • Don’t miss out on a chance to win $100 by Going Paperless

Stop by for resources, information sheets and giveaway items while supplies last.
