Construction Notice: Elm Tree Road Bridge reduced to single lane traffic

Kawartha Lakes – Final asphalt work starts next week at the Elm Tree Road Bridge following the bridge rehabilitation completed in 2025.

Work is scheduled to begin Tuesday, June 2 with completion expected by the end of that week, weather permitting.

During construction, the bridge will be reduced to single-lane traffic with traffic control in place. Motorists should expect short delays and are asked to slow down and use caution around workers and equipment.
