What to expect

Watermain flushing uses pressurized water to clean the pipes of the DWS, removing sediment that can build up over time.

  • During flushing, your water may briefly look cloudy or discoloured. This is not harmful. If this happens, run your cold water tap until the water runs clear.
  • You may also notice temporary changes in water pressure. These changes should stop once flushing is complete.
  • Check your water before drinking it or using it for household tasks (cooking, laundry, etc.).
