Residents invited to share feedback on new master plan
Help shape the future of recreation facilities in Kawartha Lakes
Kawartha Lakes – You’re invited to help shape the future of recreation facilities across the municipality.
Building on the 2025 Parks and Recreation Strategic Plan, Kawartha Lakes has launched an important project: a Recreation Facility Master Plan.
Recreation Facility Master Plan
The Recreation Facility Master Plan will guide future investments in community centres, arenas, pools and other multi-use recreation spaces. It will help determine how facilities should be renewed, improved or expanded to meet the needs of a growing and changing community.
Community input will help us:
-
Understand how recreation facilities are used today
-
Identify gaps in services and programs
-
Plan for future population growth
-
Improve accessibility and inclusion
-
Explore opportunities for partnerships and shared services
-
Ensure future investments are sustainable and make the best use of available resources
The Recreation Facility Master Plan will provide a long-term strategy to help ensure residents have access to the right facilities, in the right places, at the right time.
