Learn about the Thurstonia Drainage Study at an upcoming open house

Kawartha Lakes – You’re invited to an open house to learn about the Thurstonia Drainage Study and provide feedback on options being considered to improve drainage in the area. 

At the event, the project team will: 

• share the results of technical studies completed so far
• discuss drainage issues and possible improvements
• explain how potential options will be evaluated 

Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback.

Date: Thursday September 24, 2026
Time: 5:30pm to 7:30pm (presentation begins at 6pm)
Location: Dunsford Community Centre – 26 Community Centre Road, Dunsford 

Information presented at the open house will also be available on the project’s Jump In page following the event. 

The preferred drainage option and recommendations from the study will be presented to City Council for consideration and next steps.
