Made in Kawartha Lakes moves to Downtown Lindsay’s historic Armoury for 2026 Show + Sale
Kawartha Lakes - The Kawartha Lakes Arts Council (KLAC), the official Community Arts Council for the City of Kawartha Lakes, is proud to present the 8th Annual Made in Kawartha Lakes Show + Sale 2026 – returning this spring in an exciting new location.
The event will take place Saturday May 23 and Sunday May 24, 2026, from 10am to 4pm daily, at the Victoria Park Armoury (210 Kent Street West, Lindsay). This historic downtown venue marks a new chapter for the event, offering a central, accessible space to showcase the region’s thriving creative community.
Now in its eighth year, Made in Kawartha Lakes brings together over 50 local artists and artisans, featuring a diverse range of handcrafted work including fine art, pottery, textiles, jewellery, woodworking, and more. Visitors can also enjoy local food vendors and live music throughout the weekend, creating a vibrant and welcoming experience for all ages.
Returning this year: Pick up an event passport when you arrive! Collect stamps as you explore the show, then submit your completed passport for a chance to win one of two $250 cash prizes!
This year’s event has been made possible in part through the support of the City of Kawartha Lakes Cultural Development Grant, a municipal program designed to invest in initiatives that strengthen arts, culture, and heritage across the community. This support has helped bring KLAC’s vision for an expanded and accessible event to life.
Events like Made in Kawartha Lakes play an important role in both cultural and economic development. Ontario’s cultural sector contributes between $26 to $28 billion annually to GDP and supports hundreds of thousands of jobs. Within the City of Kawartha Lakes alone, the sector generates approximately $43 million in economic impact, underscoring the value of investing in and celebrating local creativity.
Admission to the event is by donation, with proceeds supporting the Kawartha Lakes Arts Council and its ongoing work to champion arts and culture across the region.
By attending Made in Kawartha Lakes, visitors are not only experiencing local talent, they are directly supporting artists, small businesses, and the broader creative economy.
