Municipal Service Centres and main phone line closed on August 18, 2026

Kawartha Lakes – All Kawartha Lakes Municipal Service Centres will be closed on Tuesday August 18, 2026 for employee training. The City’s main inquiry phone line will also be unavailable that day. 

The phone line closure only affects the Customer Experience Division. All other departments and divisions will continue to respond to inquiries through their direct extensions. Visit the Departments page for contact information. 

Municipal Service Centres and the City's main inquiry phone line will reopen on Wednesday, August 19 at 8:30am. 

How to get help during the closure  

Many City services are available online. You can also use the search bar to find answers to your questions. 

For urgent municipal emergencies during the closure, please call the after-hours municipal emergency line at 1-877-885-7337.
