Pride Flag to be raised in celebration of Kawartha Lakes Pride Week

Kawartha Lakes – Pride Week in Kawartha Lakes is ready to start with a flag raising on July 6. 

Running from July 6 to 12, 2026, Kawartha Lakes Pride (KLP) has a week of celebrations planned for patrons and community partners. Following Pride Month in June, KLP has scheduled a local week so that the community can attend all events, rather than having to choose between them. 

The Pride flag will be raised at Kawartha Lakes Police Service, 6 Victoria Avenue North, Lindsay, on Monday, July 6 at 9:30am. All are invited to attend. 

Following the flag raising, KLP has many events planned for the community to attend. From meals to story time, outdoor events, and evening parties, there is something for every age and interest.
