Road closure: Blanchard’s Road in Kirkfield, October 19 to 20

Kawartha Lakes – Blanchard’s Road in Kirkfield will be temporarily closed between Victoria Road and South Mountain Road on October 19 and 20 while Gemtec Consulting Engineers completes geotechnical work for the Wylie’s Bridge replacement project. 

The investigation will help prepare for the planned replacement of Wylie’s Bridge in 2027. 

Local traffic will be permitted up to the closure, and a signed detour will be in place. Motorists should follow detour signs and use caution when travelling near the work area.
