Temporary load restrictions lifted effective 12am on May 2, 2026

Kawartha Lakes – Due to improving weather and road conditions, Kawartha Lakes is lifting temporary load restrictions on all roads throughout the municipality effective 12am on Saturday May 2, 2026. Roads with permanent restrictions remain in effect.

Thank you to drivers and operators for their cooperation during the restricted period, and for helping to maintain the integrity of our road network.
