Kawartha Lakes – Parks and Recreation is making significant progress on outdoor space clean-up from the 2025 Ice Storm.
As staff work tirelessly to cleanup from all the damage, all outdoor spaces are getting closer and closer to being fully open for public use.

Parks and Recreation will continue sharing weekly updates stating which spaces are open and which spaces remain closed. Please stay safe in all areas and away from those that still remain closed.

Kawartha Lakes – Parks and Recreation is making progress on damage clean-up of all Trails, Cemeteries, Boat Launches, Parks and Forest Tracts, from the 2025 Ice Storm.
As staff work tirelessly to clean-up from all the damage, these spaces are beginning to open back up for public use.
