Kawartha Lakes – The City of Kawartha Lakes and the County of Haliburton are on a mission to better understand the housing needs and experiences of residents across our communities. Through an online survey, the public has the opportunity to share their thoughts on affordable housing, barriers to access, and the connection between housing and community well-being.
The purpose of the consent applications is to facilitate the severance of the property to create three (3) new residential lots, each to contain a future single detached dwelling. From North to South, the proposed lots are referred to as Lot 1, Lot 2, and Lot 3. The retained lot is to be the southern most lot.
Kawartha Lakes – The Council of the City of Kawartha Lakes intends to pass a by-law at the January 28, 2025 Regular Council Meeting to approve and implement the naming of an existing Ministry of Transportation owned public service road being a northerly extension of Homestead Drive north of Riverwood Park Road in the former Township of Ops to be formally named “Homestead Drive”.
