Kawartha Lakes – The Municipal Law Enforcement Office and the Kawartha Lakes Police Service (KLPS) are aware of a parking ticket scam happening in Kawartha Lakes.
Kawartha Lakes – The Boil Water Advisory issued on Monday January 13, 2025 for the Western Trent Drinking Water System located in the Village of Bolsover, has been rescinded by the Medical Officer of Health.
On November 19, 2024, Council passed a motion to declare the Councillor vacancy in Ward Five and they selected the By-Election option to fill the vacancy. By-Elections require the municipality to pass a by-law, at a Special Council meeting prior to the Committee of the Whole meeting, Council passed the By-Law to Authorize By-Election for Ward Five as printed.
This Public Meeting will be held both in person and virtually with electronic public participation.

The purpose of the consent application is to facilitate the severance of the property to create one (1) new residential lot to contain a future single detached dwelling.
A Minor Variance application (D20-2024-114) has been submitted and is being processed concurrently with the Consent application.
Kawartha Lakes - The City of Kawartha Lakes would like to notify users of the Norland Bulk Water Station that the station is currently out of service for repairs. Residents will be notified when the work is done and the station can be utilized.
Above seasonal temperatures on Friday, January 17 through Saturday morning, could result in melting, before temperatures drop dramatically Saturday afternoon into next week.

The Medical Officer of Health has directed the City of Kawartha Lakes to issue a Drinking Water Advisory on January 13, 2025 due to a power loss and generator issue at the Water Treatment facility. Notices have been hand delivered to residents
