Kawartha Lakes – Nominations for the City of Kawartha Lakes Osprey Heritage Awards are now open. Nominations will be accepted until September 15, 2025.  

The Kawartha Lakes Municipal Heritage Committee is looking for nominations for the 2025 Osprey Heritage Awards. Every other year, the Committee recognizes and celebrate outstanding projects and contributions that have promoted and preserved community heritage within Kawartha Lakes.

Take Notice that the Council of the City of Kawartha Lakes, on April 22, 2025, passed By-law 2025-054 to designate the following property under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.18, as a property of cultural heritage value or interest:

Kawartha Lakes – Kawartha Lakes is moving forward with the full replacement of the Lake Dalrymple Bridge, with construction scheduled to begin May 19, 2025. This is a $4.7 million project in the 2025 Capital Budget to ensure state of good repair of City assets.
