Lindsay Ops Landfill service changes and construction update
Kawartha Lakes – Work continues at the Lindsay Ops Landfill as part of the City's landfill improvement project. Over the coming weeks, you may notice some temporary changes to services and traffic flow at the site.
Traffic changes at the site
While the landfill remains open during construction, you may experience temporary traffic changes, lane adjustments or delays when entering the site.

Hazardous waste collection temporary relocation
Upgrades to the household hazardous waste building are expected to begin this week.
To keep this service available during construction, hazardous waste materials will be collected at a temporary location within the landfill site. Staff will be available to direct you to the alternate drop-off area.
The work on the building is expected to take approximately two weeks.
