Calling all student entrepreneurs! Join our Summer Company program.  The Summer Company program provides training, mentoring and grants up to $3,000 to Ontario students, between the ages of 15 and 29, who wish to start a full-time business over the summer.

 Eligibility:

• Are you a student currently enrolled in full time education?        
• Will you be between the ages of 15 - 29 by April 30, 2027?         
• Are you a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident living in Ontario?        
• Are you starting a brand-new business?    
• Do you plan to run your summer business in Ontario?    
• Not received a Summer Company Grant award in the past?
• Will your business operate independently from any family business ventures?
• Does your business fall under any of the following categories? (if yes, it is not eligible for funding)
• Partnerships/co-operatives, franchises, distributorships
• Commissioned sales, multi-level marketing ventures
• Single events (DJ gigs, concerts, fundraisers, etc.)
• Will you be employed elsewhere or attending summer school for more than 12 hours a week?
• Can you commit to the mandatory monthly mentorship meetings?           
• Will you commit to the mandatory Training Program?     
• Can you commit to an average of 35 hours a week to run your business?

If your application package is successful, you will be invited for an interview. Following the interview, a final decision will be made regarding your acceptance to the SC program.
