Kawartha Lakes offers rink board advertising opportunities within recreation facilities. Arenas are used by a variety of groups and individuals year round such as recreational hockey teams, minor hockey, women’s hockey, figure skating clubs, community groups, schools, seniors, parents and tot programs, lacrosse, ball hockey, hockey schools, ringette, and a range of special events, keeping our facilities busy all year round.

Rink Boards
Rink boards are installed at ice level surrounding the ice surface. Their high visibility maximizes your advertising value. The advertiser is to confirm availability and supply the artwork for approval prior to production. Each arena has specific requirements for size and material, please confirm specifications prior to design. A proof must be provided to the Parks and Recreation Division for approval prior to production. Ads will be installed by Municipal staff.

Community Guide Advertising

The Kawartha Lakes Community Guide is a quarterly publication that offers a prime marketplace for advertising. It is the primary communication tool used to educate the public about active and healthy lifestyles through municipal-run programming and includes information on our parks, trails, forest tracts, beaches, boat launches, events and more.

This wonderful online publication is easily accessible, linking the community directly to our Online Program Registration Website and will also link directly to your website through audience interaction.

Sponsor a Skate

The Sponsor a Skate Public Skating Sponsorship program gives local businesses and Service Clubs the opportunity to provide free Public Skating to community members of all ages.

Businesses/Organizations will gain valuable exposure while promoting physical activity in adults and children and helping to promote recreation in their community.

Program Details:

  • Public Skates run various days through the week at various locations. View Public Skating schedules online and pick a date that you would be interested in sponsoring (subject to availability).
  • Your sponsorship will offer free admission to all participants on the date/time of your Skate
  • Clients have the opportunity to set up a booth/information table in the facility to distribute promotional materials before, during and after the Public Skate (staff approval is required prior to set up and distribution of materials)
  • The Skate information will be shared on the Parks and Recreation social media accounts prior to the event

Sponsor a Swim

The Sponsor a Swim Public Swimming Sponsorship program gives local businesses and Service Clubs the opportunity to provide free Public Swimming to community members of all ages.

Businesses/organizations will gain valuable exposure while promoting physical activity in adults and children and helping to promote recreation in their community.
