Recreation Facility Advertising

We offer a wide range of advertising opportunities within our recreation facilities. Our Arenas are used by a variety of groups and individuals year round.  Recreational hockey teams, minor hockey, women's hockey, figure skating clubs, community groups, schools, seniors, parents and tots, lacrosse, ball hockey, hockey schools, ringette and a range of special events keep our facilities busy. 

If you are looking for local and out of town visitor exposure while supporting the community you should consider advertising in our facilities.

Arena Board Ad Advertising

Rink boards are installed at ice level surrounding the ice surface. Their high visibility maximizes your advertising value.

Rink Board ads are available at most facilities.

Community Guide Advertising

The Kawartha Lakes Community Guide offers a prime marketplace for advertising your products, services and or programming to a wide audience. It is the primary communication tool used to educate the public about active and healthy lifestyles through city-run programming. This resourceful online publication is easily accessible; linking the community directly to the Kawartha Lakes Online Program Registration website and also links directly to the advertisers website through audience interaction.

Sponsor a Skate

The Sponsor a Skate Public Skating Sponsorship program gives local businesses and Service Clubs the opportunity to provide free Public Skating to community members of all ages.

Businesses/Organizations will gain valuable exposure while promoting physical activity in adults and children and helping to promote recreation in their community.

Program Details:

  • Public Skates run various days through the week at various locations. View Public Skating schedules online and pick a date that you would be interested in sponsoring (subject to availability).
  • Your sponsorship will offer free admission to all participants on the date/time of your Skate
  • Clients have the opportunity to set up a booth/information table in the facility to distribute promotional materials before, during and after the Public Skate (staff approval is required prior to set up and distribution of materials)
  • All sponsored Skates will be added to the City website
  • A poster will be designed and posted at the facility in advance of the sponsored event
  • The Skate information will shared on the Parks, Recreation and Culture social media accounts prior to the event
