Centennial Trailer Park

Centennial Trailer Park is a municipally owned, permanent seasonal Park located in Kawartha Lakes. Located 5km west of Kirkfield and almost entirely surrounded by water, Centennial Trailer Park is located on Canal Lake. Canal Lake is a popular fishing destination on the Trent-Severn Waterway. From the Park you can easily access the Kirkfield Lift Lock - Lock 36, the second highest hydraulic lift lock in the world. Centennial Trailer Park is the perfect destination to explore the natural beauty of Kawartha Lakes.

Centennial Trailer Park has 173 spacious sites that can accommodate trailers up to 40 feet in length.

The Park operates seasonally from May until October each year providing a relaxing seasonal vacation experience. Trailers may remain on site during the off-season but access to the Park during the off-season period is limited.

2025 Rates and Fees

2025 Site Fees are due no later than April 30, 2025.

Pay Invoices Online:

Current park occupants can pay their invoices online via credit card. Occupants who are not already set up and who wish to be set up to pay online are asked to e-mail: recreation@kawarthalakes.ca to receive log in credentials and instruction.

Becoming a Park Occupant

Centennial Trailer Park is owned and operated by the municipality of Kawartha Lakes. 

Located 5km west of Kirkfield, Centennial Park is the perfect destination to explore the natural beauty of Kawartha Lakes. The Park is almost entirely surrounded by water on Canal Lake on the Trent-Severn Waterway.

Generous sites can accommodate trailers up to 40 feet in length.

The Park operates seasonally from May until October each year providing a relaxing seasonal vacation experience. Trailers may remain on site during the off-season but access to the Park during the off-season period is limited.

New Travel Trailers entering the Park, must be less than 10 years old.

New 'Cottager' style models entering the Park must be less than 17 years old. The municipality of Kawartha Lakes has defined 'Cottager' style models as having a shingled, pitched roof, siding, no slides and a width of 12 feet or greater.

Sites include one of the following options: 

  • municipal water, sewer and 30 amp power hook up or
  • municipal water, 30 amp power hook up and pump out service
