What Is Small Business Week?
For over 44 years, the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) has organized Small Business Week, an annual celebration of entrepreneurship and small businesses. Every year, nearly 10,000 entrepreneurs gather to learn, network, and celebrate the people building businesses across the country.
During this week, we shine a spotlight on the resilience, innovation, and hard work of our small business owners in Kawartha Lakes. Join us in recognizing their contributions by shopping local, dining at neighbourhood restaurants, and engaging with the vibrant entrepreneurial spirit that makes our community thrive.
