Plan Your Tour Stops | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Kawartha Farmfest follows provincial regulations and local Health Unit guidance, recommendations and advise for festivals. To manage this, ticket sales will be restricted to online sales only again for 2022. 2022 Guidelines are current to provincial health regulations of today, and may be adjusted should those regulations change. To regulate the flow, reduce overly large crowds, and reduce waiting and line ups each site will again have hourly Farm Site Entry tickets. They will be limited in number and may sell out before the event. Be sure to plan your day and get your tickets early to avoid disappointment. To assist in estimating travel time and distance between 2022 Farm Sites the following chart was provided, with the caution that times and distances may vary depending on traffic volumes, road conditions and speed and route of travel.

Event-Day Admission & Farm Site Ticket Purchase only online |
All ticket sales are only online through the "Buy Tickets" blue button above which links to the Eventbrite site. All admission and farm site entry tickets must be purchased in advance of the event day. No tickets will be sold on-site or at other third-party sites in advance of the event. Ticket sales will end at 12pm Noon on Friday, September 30, 2022 or earlier if sold out. |
Have a Safe and Fun Event Day |
Health and safety of participants, volunteers and farm hosts is a top priority. Protocols were put in place again for 2022 to allow for physical distancing distancing of participants by limiting Farm Site Entry Tickets available each hour. Participants were asked to observe all signs and travel through each site as a group with those in their carload; Maintain 6 feet of separation from other guests and the site hosts as much as possible; Use hand washing and sanitizing stations at arrival and departure from each site, as well as before and after eating; and ensuring you only participate in the event if you have passed a COVID self-screening and are healthy. Prior to leaving home for the day, ensure you and your entire group are free from any symptoms related to COVID-19 or any other communicable disease or virus. |
What's a day out without a stop for Kawartha Dairy ice cream?
As a special treat, advance ticket holders received a "Buy one cone, Get one cone free" at Kawartha Dairy in Lindsay or Bobcaygeon coupon. It was valid during Farmfest only. Saturday October 1, 2022. Special thanks goes to Kawartha Dairy Ltd. for their continued support of Kawartha Farmfest.
Kawartha Farmfest Passport
Kawartha Farmfest Passports were distributed on event day and were used to collect comments and suggestions about the sites and also as a Contest Ballot for a draw for a basket of items from Kawartha Farmfest sites. One passport was issued per group and were dropped in the draw box at their last farm stop of the day.
Congratulations to this year's winner, Connie D. from Oakwood. Enjoy the harvest!
