Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please note that there will be no on-site ticket sales.

Adults are $5 per person, kids under 14 are free.

All Tickets Sold Only Online in 2020
Due to Health and Safety Plans and pandemic reopening limits for events, ticket sales will be restricted to online sales only for 2020.
As per local and provincial regulations, each host site will have attendance limits of 100 participants per site at a time (or 50 participants for sites that have an indoor component)(O. Reg. 364, Schedule 2, Section 19(1)). During registration you will be asked to book your time in 30 minute visits at each of the Host Farms that you wish to visit throughout the day for your entire group (adults and children). Kids under 14 remain free, however, they are included in the participant attendance count, therefore the reservation system includes children.
Prior to initiating your ticket registration please review the Farm Host Sites below to plan your day. Remember to plan time for travel between Farm Sites and for stops at Farmers' Markets and Kawartha Dairy. A map of the sites is also provided to assist you. Please select your sites during the registration and ticket purchase process on EventBrite as you cannot stop selections after you have completed your registration.
 Event-Day Admission Purchase only online
Participants will purchase your tickets online in advance of the event day. No tickets will be sold on-site or at other third-party sites due to COVID-related health and safety protocols. Ticket sales end at 6pm October 2 or when sold out.
Have a Safe and Fun Event Day
Health and safety of participants, volunteers and hosts is a top priority. Event approvals have been received from the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit and the municipality. Gathering limits of 100 outdoors and 50 for sites that have an indoor component have also been confirmed by HKPR Health Unit, as per O. Reg 364, Schedule 2, Section 19(1). Protocols have been put in place to allow for physical distancing, and contact tracing will be facilitated through online registration and farm site check-in. Participants are asked to observe all signs and travel through each site as a bubble with those in your carload. Maintain 6 feet of separation from other guests and the site hosts at all times. Use hand washing and sanitizing stations at arrival and departure from each site, as well as before and after eating. Cloth masks will be required during indoor visits as per local Health Unit requirements. Hosts are also encouraged to wear cloth masks at check-in and other transaction points where distancing is difficult and participant volumes are increased. Volunteers will monitor attendee numbers at each site, and if limits are surpassed guests may be asked to wait in their cars briefly until sufficient participants leave the site. See below for full COVID-safety protocols like physical distancing, hand washing, reduced touch points and increased sanitation.

Kawartha Farmfest Passport

Pick up your Kawartha Farmfest Passport when you arrive at your first farm on event day by providing your ticket order confirmation number and contact name. One passport will be issued per group, rather than admission stickers as used in previous years. Use the passport to access all farm sites during event day, recording comments and feedback as you go. At the end of your day, drop your completed Passport in a ballot box at your last stop to enter to win a prize basket of Kawartha Farmfest goods!

If you forget to deposit your Passport with comments at the end of the day, you can scan and email your Passport entry to kmaloney@kawarthalakes.ca by October 9, 2020. Winner to be drawn October 14, 2020.
