Landfill Locations
Landfill Locations and Hours of Operation
- All landfills are closed on New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Canada Day.
- Landfill sites scheduled to operate on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve will only be open from 8am to 12pm.
- Winter hours are from October 16 to April 30, summer hours are from May 1 to October 15.
- All landfill hours are subject to change.
There are five landfill sites located in Kawartha Lakes:
Laxton Digby Longford
Address: 3225 Monck Road
(Approximately 2 km west of Norland)
Winter hours (Oct 16 to Apr 30)
Thursday: 11am to 5pm
Sunday: 12pm to 4pm
Summer hours (May 1 to Oct 15)
Thursday: 11am to 5pm
Sunday: 11am to 5pm
In the summer this landfill will be open from 11am to 5pm on holiday Mondays. *Except otherwise noted above in the landfill locations and hours of operation section.
Eldon
Address: 311 Rockview Road
(Travel west from Kirkfield on CKL Rd 48.Turn left onto Rockview Road. The landfill is approximately 3 km south on the right hand side)

Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 11am to 5pm
Summer hours (May 1 to Oct 15)
Wednesday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 11am to 5pm
Sunday: 11am to 5pm

Somerville
Address: 381 Ledge Hill Road
(Travel north on CKL Rd 121, turn right onto Ledge Hill Road. The Landfill is approximately 2 km south on the right hand side).

Friday: 9am to 5pm
Saturday: 9am to 5pm

Fenelon
Address: 341 Mark Road
(Travel north from Cameron on Highway 35. Turn left onto Chambers Road, then right onto Mark Road. The landfill is approximately 3.5 km on the left hand side).

Address: 51 Wilson Road
(From Lindsay travel north on CKL Rd 36, turn left onto Wilson Road. The landfill is 0.5 km on the left hand side.)
