This year’s theme is about the importance of getting the right diagnosis early. Many people living with MS face long delays before they get the answers and care they need. Kawartha Lakes is joining the global MS community in calling for faster, more accurate MS diagnoses.

Kawartha Lakes – National AccessAbility Week is observed across Canada beginning the last Sunday in May, and in 2025, it takes place from May 25 to May 31. This week is dedicated to recognizing the contributions of persons with disabilities and promoting efforts to create a barrier-free, inclusive society for all Canadians. It also shines a light on the important work being done by allies, organizations and communities to foster accessibility and inclusion.
