    Kawartha Lakes - In November 2024, Parks Canada started the permanent end lift installations at the Bobcaygeon Swing Bridge, which supports normal bridge swing operations.

    Kawartha Lakes – The City of Kawartha Lakes has retained Four Seasons Site Developments Ltd. to undertake a pavement-resurfacing project on Kent Street West in Lindsay from Highway 35 North to Angeline Street.

    Kawartha Lakes – In the regular Council meeting of April 22, 2025, Mark Doble, the newly elected Councilllor for Ward 5, was sworn in by City Clerk Cathie Ritchie. He will serve until November 2026, the remaining term of Council.
